1. Save scrap pieces of soap.
2. Chop into teeny-tiny pieces.
3. Option A: Place chopped pieces of soap in a small dish and press firmly. Carefully trickle in water just until soap pieces are covered. Let sit for an hour--the soap will expand and then you can press down firmly once more. Let soap sit for up to a week to ensure it is fully dry.
Option B: Follow steps through 'carefully trickling water over soap pieces until just covered and let sit for an hour.' Once soap has expanded and absorbed all of the water, soap can be removed and molded firmly with hands into desired shape. If soap is too pasty, you may want it to sit for a bit more before molding.
4. Repurposed bar of soap is ready to be used after 3-7 days.
